The
content of the Taking Charge of My Life program is
designed to appeal to people in a variety of settings. It cuts across socio-economic,
racial and ethnic lines. Don't
let the simplicity fool you for it presents life-changing ideas in a clear, concise,
easy to understand way. Below
are suggested settings in which the material would be highly effective. Classrooms:
Public or private institutions The
material in the program would fit well in health, social studies, and psychology
classes. Depending
on the technology available, students could view the online video, read the e
book , have classroom sets of the paperback books, or a power point presentation
and break into discussion groups at appropriate intervals (see Instructor's Guide) | | Individual:
A student
can work on his/her own by reading the material, regardless of the format, (paperback
book, e book, online video) and by doing the exercises at the end of each chapter
or session. Small

mothers and pregnant teen programs

prevention and rehabilitation programs
